Terms of Service
1. Service
Halal MM provides a non-custodial crypto escrow service. You and your counterparty agree on a deal off-platform, then use Halal MM to hold the buyer's funds until delivery is confirmed. The platform charges a 3% fee on each completed deal.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into binding contracts. You are responsible for ensuring that using a crypto escrow service is lawful in your jurisdiction.
3. Prohibited use
You may not use Halal MM for: money laundering, financing of terrorism, sanctioned counterparties, illegal goods or services, fraud, or any activity that violates applicable law. We may freeze, refund, or close any deal we believe violates these rules.
4. Escrow flow
The buyer deposits the agreed amount to a one-time address. Once confirmed on-chain, the deal becomes funded. After delivery the buyer releases funds; the platform deducts 3% and forwards the rest to the seller's payout address. If the parties disagree, either side may open a dispute, which freezes release until an admin resolves it.
5. Fees and refunds
The platform fee is deducted only when funds are released. Cancelled or refunded deals incur no platform fee, but network (miner) fees on incoming and outgoing transfers are non-refundable.
6. No financial advice
Halal MM is software. We are not a bank, broker, exchange, or fiduciary. We do not provide investment, legal, or tax advice. You are solely responsible for the deals you enter.
7. Liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranty. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Halal MM is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for losses caused by counterparty fraud, blockchain failures, or third-party payment providers.
8. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Halal MM after changes constitutes acceptance.
